![]() This book is a classic and would love to be next to another great story of Eric Carle. The hermit crab is looking for a home and shows extreme kindness to all he meets. He has such a creative way to bring the simplest insects, and animals to life with his art and writtings. Includes diagrams of a spider and her web and an index. Eric Carle is one of my favorite authors. Text and photographs describe how a garden spider spins her web and how she uses it to catch food. This book discusses the life cycles of various kinds of squirrels, and how they keep busy building homes, raising young, and watching for enemies. Squirrels live almost all over the world and are a familiar sight to most people. ![]() Urban Roosts: Where Birds Nest in the CityÄescribes the birds that make their homes in the heart of the city and examines how they have adjusted to such a harsh urban environment. ![]() Finding it becomes particularly humorous when that home is carried on the crab's back! When Hermit Crab outgrows his old house, he ventures out to find a new one. ![]()
